Yes, everyone here is such a legal sophisticate. Not. TV is not a place to find a realistic depiction of lawyers. I don't see how anyone on this thread knows enough to condemn anyone.

Here in Florida, for legal matters, we have had good success with the firm Shyster and Shyster.

Well the W.T lawyers are pretty high on my chart...as for the salvation army lawyers and green peace lawyers all in the top 10.

How about working for lawyers for eight years? Does that count?

I prefer Raippe, Pilliage, and Berns.

Criminal lawyers are not criminal. It is patently untrue and an ignorant remark.

No, it's not an ignorant remark, it is my observation.

Lawyers, even lawyers representing criminals, perform a vital service. The police do arrest people wrongly, if it were you, then you would be kissing the feet of that lawyer for representing you to the best of his ability and helping you to get justice.

I am sure there are some bad, nasty lawyers out there, as there are bad people in any profession. Due to the nature of it, there are probably more than most professions, but it is still a job that needs to be done.

If you as a lawyer hide what u know is true...then yes, u are bad.

So that's the question for me is do u as a lawyer make a defense withholding information?

That's true LisaRose, but if I know I did wrong in my heart but still committed the act, there's not much a lawyer can "honestly" say about it.

Thanks again for your well rounded view, such as one would expect to come from someone who has studied law and claims to be of that profession.
