I have yet to get up the courage to just skip meetings and field service. More power to you, DD, that you can.
I'm with 'leaving quietly', same position, but it WILL happen. Be the best husband data-dog show a quiet and mild spirit that she may be won without a word.... Damn my indoctrinated brain, sorry...
DATA-DOG there are literally truck-loads of JWs missing meetings these days.
Just remind your wifey that across the board 30% to 40% of JWs opt not to go to meetings cause they are soooo Gaud Damn boring!
Each and everyone of the 110,000+ congregations is no different! That's why each and every CO harps on meeting attendance when he visits the congregations in his circuit......cause its' an epidemic!
Stay home when you feel like staying home!
My personal attendance rate is right about 50%. I'm at par with many pioneers and the servant body when it comes to meeting attendance.
Arent we all "volunteers" in this org anyway?
HUH! thats what they say..."no one can force us into serving god (GB)"
We all know the reality is much different to that!
