Jonza - Your basic error is to imagine that the bible presents a consitent christology. It does not.

There is an evolution of doctrine regarding Jesus from Mark, the earliest gospel, through the synoptics, the epistles and then John and Revelation.

My task is not to present evidence for my view of Jesus - I don't even think he was a good man - but to show that the trinity is internally contradictory and contrary to at least some of the data in the NT

Your task is to reconcile the trinity with ALL of the biblical data, and to explain the trinity in a way that isn't contraditory. You still have all your work ahead of you.

Are you now saying Jesus is not to be worshiped? When earlier you said that He is?

    No of course not.

I am not conceding that there is any indication in the bible that the father worships Jesus.

You can assert that a supplicant is equal to his deity but it is blatantly absurd.

Incredible. When you want to have an honest debate and answer real questions please feel free to do so. You are making statements without giving anything to back them up at all. You have a complete refusal to answer a single question. Just by saying I'm in error does not make it so. It is you that has lots of work ahead of you.

Anybody reading this thread can see pages of rational questions and argument versus your prevarication and obfuscation.

You are now making the incredible assertion that a supplicant is equal to his deity and pretending that isn't risible.

    Good night.

    Hilarious!

anybody reading this will see you for what you really are

    And what is that exactly?

So you are going to huff rather than answer difficult questions.

    The questions still stand.

How can Jesus call on the father as his god and still be his equal?

    My answers do also.

    The key question is...

How can Jesus call on the father as his god and still be his equal?

I am struggling to find anything resembling an answer.

Are you claiming that Jesus is partly human and partly god and that the human part of Jesus is inferior to the father but the other half isn't?

If not then please explain it simply.
