Cofty - In a plain matter of fact way I have always been interested

in science, and although I did not major in science at the University of California,

I did take sciences courses out of pure interest;

physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and courses offered by

the Division of Astronomy and Astrophysics :

A present Example: Course: Life in Universe. (4) Lecture, four hours; discussion. Preparation: prior introduction to astronomy. Life on Earth and prospects for life elsewhere in context of evolution of universe from simple to complex. Course material primarily from astronomy and biology but includes some chemistry, geology, and physics. Selected topics treated in some depth, but with little or no formal mathematics. ( to qualify to take this course you would first have to be admitted to the university not to extended education)

The courses I took were fundamental courses and were not advanced level courses,

however, in all the five years I spent at university,and in all the science courses

I took, I never, ever, heard anyone, student or professor, make such

an obtusely irrational, statement such as the one you have made,

that you think you can "prove" God does not exist.

Its absurd on the face of it.

No rational person says such things or is so dogmatic,

it is indeed just like the mindset of a Jehovah's Witness,

who insist what they believe, is incontrovertibly true and provable by fact.

It was inspired by the repeated actions of SCO and a failed attempt by PM to help him see how inappropriate his actions were.....Cofty

No I said I can show that any PARTICULAR god does not exist. For example the god of christian theism. An omnipotent, omniscient, loving, personal god does not exist. It is not difficult to show that much.

If you worship some other god we can discuss her if you like - on another thread.
