The last line of my great poem should have said " if your not already DEAD" ...anyway i am afraid you me and the elders will be before too long.

Jgnat ...i am 50 now and miss the girl from 3c with a walt on her knee and a smile just for me.
I guess my dad and i never got along and its time i put that behind me ( his 87) just venting i guess.

I am missing a few dots, but I think I get the gist. We are of the same generation with dads setting in God's waiting room. I however am looking forward to this next stage of life.

We have fewer responsibilities, greater wisdom, loads of free time no longer tied to the school calendar, and no-one left to impress. I look for opportunities to shock my daughter.

jgnat imagine we are now together in the " New System"
We share a carafe of sweet wine
My wife has a gin and tonic
Your man a .........
and we look at a giraffe for little children to climb.
Then our friend Marys little Lamb
so sweet and so unnecssary we let that lamb live.
Crazy Jgnat, i leave the W.T and realize that lamb has sufferd has feelings and i feel guilty eating meat.

jgnat ..it was a joke about the girl from 3c with a walt on her knee. I mean its so unattractive only an innocent child would find that romantic. My boy did because a 5 year old girl sat with my bou and read him a book. He fell in love i missed that when i collected from day- care...but he kept talking about as i call her " chubby little Emma"
