Bad Bible Translation can spring from two things (at least). The first is somewhat excusable, and is that the tranlator lacks the skills.
The second is that the tranlator has an agenda, perhaps unconsciuosly, but often deliberate, to support his/her own beliefs.
What I like about the work of W&H is that basically their renderings seem to be honest, they often render passages that would seem to contradict their own beliefs in a straitforward way.
Straight forward honesty, a quality that is somewhat lacking in the original NWT and even more so in its Revised version.
