After reading all of Robert Caro's books about L. B. Johnson I am convinced that Johnson had the means, ability, and desire to do away with Kennedy.
Do I think Johnson was behind this - No!
Despite Johnson's desire to become president I think he was a victim of circumstances.
Again, this is my opinion. I was only 6 years old when Kennedy got shot so don't blame me.
Johnson was a despicable man but he was also lucky.

This is an interesting thread and all comments great. JFK was shot on my birthday when I was 6 and I remember it on TV clearly. I have studied and read much on it over the years. I am no expert but I am convinced there was more than just one shooter. One thing for sure is JFK and family had plenty of enemies. IMHO the Warren Report is a joke. Skull cap on the back of the car requires someone else besides Oswald. Much evidence was tampered with or not ever provided. The Zapruder film being held back for so long and then when released with missing frames. Secret Service attachment pulled off at the perfect time. Autopsy not allowed and being whisked off to DC. The 180 turn on Vietnam war by Johnston while the body was still warm. Just a few things I can think of off the top of my head. It boils down to we probably will never know but one thing for sure, history is written by the winners.

Well thanks again for the replys. There is ovbiously two specific opinions:
A) He acted alone.
B) There was more to it than that.
Posters on both sides have put across interesting points, is there anything further we can add? I think not.

Per the Bible, Daniel speaks of the "little horn" as abasing three other horns. The little horn represents the CIA and the three horns that it abases or destroys represent the three assassinations of JFK, RFK and MLK. So per the Bible, not only is the CIA under the control of Babylon the Great, which is the 4th beast, but it is responsible for these three famous assassinations.
Interestingly, when Babylon the Great (which is the 4th beast of Daniel) is destroyed by the UN, that includes not only the Federal Reserve but the CIA, which is an agent of BTG (the "Illuminati").
When the CIA and the Federal Reserve are outlawed by the UN, the UN will take over world government in order to become the "eighth king" and it will last for 1 year and 3 months. In that time it will declare "peace and security," which is one of Obama's oft stated phrases. Obama is already basically the head of the UN right now and is moving to making it an absolute authority in the world. Thus we are very close to that point when it will take over world domination. When it does and it establishes some circumstance where it declares "peace and security" then Armageddon will happen. Only it won't be as the WTS depicts, with lots of natural disasters destroying the world's infrastructure. It will be more like what happened at the time of the Exodus where the firstborn were killed. Governments exist in the minds of people, not buildings. When the population supporting Obama and world rule by the UN die off then there will be nothing to oppose God establishing his kingdom by Christ. The context of Armageddon, therefore, are the survivors burrying a lot of bones picked cleaned by the birds. The spoils of the modern world will be left to the faithful.
The Bible does not time Armageddon. But when we see the UN destroy the CIA and the Federal Reserve, we know there is a 1 year and 3 month countdown to Armageddon. We are thus one global crisis away from the final end of this system of things.
