Here's the opening paragraph:
The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city’s first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court.
Is this being done under Hate Speech rulings.

It would be great if some Texas JWNers could feed them the Gay-Bashing WT articles and explain that they are JW "sermons".
Yes do email the talk outlines for the org. Hope this does something the hate out there is so ridiculous.
Of course it's Fox so they take the side of the churches. They accuse the mayor's office of not respecting the boundaries of the separation of church and state. They don't seem to realize that separation of church and state was intending to protect the state from the church's influence and uphold a secular society governed by the rule of law.

Blatant violation of free speech rights. Put the shoe on the other foot and ask yourself how this would go over: "Republican city council issues subpeona demanding copies of gay pastor's sermons."
