I had to laugh at this comment found in a news article regarding the convention
"I got asked for some directions by some American JWs yesterday, I started explaining and saw their faces, completely lost, user speedyleedy wrote."
They don't know how close to the truth they really were.

Yeah and Steve Lett of the Governing body prayed over the missionaries in front of the stage...and we waved yeah verily we were told not to be materialistic and he made us laugh with governing body humor trying an aussie gday mate. He told us they often get this GET LETTERS FROM BROTHERS TELLING THEM TO STORE FOOD AWAY FOR ARMAGEDON and they put those letters in the TRASH.....Jehoover will provide.....or they just dont believe its real.
