then the questioning keeps breaking down the little girl, so she crys, and they watch, making her describe every detail of the sex act......while she crys..... they want more exact details of where here tounge was............. while she crys....... then they go to a room for 5 min and come back and tell her she doesn't have 2 witnesses, and that she should just keep quite about the matter.
and if she says anything about the matter at all, she will be punished........."THEN"... she has to go "HOME" and face "DADDY" the "PETOPHILE"...... daddy is kind of mad...

meanwhile daddy is asked to give a part on the assembly.

The only reason it has been moved is because things to do with SL or dateline up to now have been going in Scandel & Coverups or JW News and Events. Its just to stop important things like this getting lost amoung other threads, in the friends forum.

I am slowly working my way through the achieves moving threads into different forums so that anything relating to certain topics can be found easier.

There isn't really 'a main board' as such.

Everything is included in the 'active topics' list which is the best way to see what is new.

By putting topics in the appropriate areas it makes it much easier for people to find things.

sadly this story is not a one off.There was an elder in Barry congregation,UK who at the time of his meeting had no less than 20 sisters aging from 11-upwards stating that he had been indecent and was also accused of rape. He was arrested regarding child abuse and also later on for sexual harrasment to a 'worldly' girl in the workplace. The loving organisation of witnesses decided to disfellowship him but fear not, he has moved congregation and is now enjoying being reinstated and becoming prominent again while 90% of the sisters he abused have left or been disfellowshipped/disassociated and are still trying to come to terms with it all. Isnt this organisation so loving and forgiving? Its a haven for the most depraved people on the earth. Jehovah forgives anything apparently and so do the ones who believe it. Not much good for those of us that have been abused tho is it?

I agree elders lack the necessary skills to carry out such "investigative" work. In such situations they should immediately inform the police or child services.

But I think your post paints a misleading picture of elders in general. Many here were elders for several years and in those years they served, many actually cared for the members of their congregation. Too paint them all as you have doesn't seem right.

I have to ask, where is the mother in your scenario and how does she justify knowing what her husband is doing and allowing her child to suffer? It is true the WT has not done it's share to protect children to the extent they could have, but there are others that share a greater responsibility. The WT should not necessarily be the prime target of our anger. Maybe the molester himself should and we have certainly overlooked others that failed to protect children.

the mother was a full time poineer who would take the little girl into the lady's room, and hit her with a wooden spoon while the other sisters watched and were afaid to say anything, or were doing the same thing to their little children,....you remember the beatings of little children in the lady's room, don't you???....remember the screaming of the little children????

the other "nicer elders" were told to "stay out of it", and they agreed, cause the circuit overseer was in tight with elders who did the questioning, and the pedophile.

if you were a good elder taking care of a cong........eventually you would have to either step down, or shut up.........cause you would see things that were an outrage, and want to do something, but the other elders would claim you are causing a division on the body of elders...... i saw many good brothers "step down".

No, I don't. Except for a select few mom's when I was younger. But bad parents are to be expected in any group of people.

Although I don't doubt the events in your initial post have happened, I do read this as a dramatization. This can hardly be a generalization of elders and, I would guess, is not even a large minority.
