yeah i was there. part of me wanted to go so i can see wife's reaction to all the BS. it was tiresome sitting there. then the "peanut gallery" was behind me & laughing & oozing over every word. truly sickening indeed.
wife basically brushed off anything negative from meeting. but there had to be some sort of dent in her armor, she even rolled her eyes a couple of times. really hope this will end soooon.....
Oubliett- The two older JW men (and the ones they spoke with) were a little hot under the collar and insulted by the comments Tony made about parents being responsible for their kids not "doing well" in the Org. And the 23 yr old MS comments. MOST JW parents now have EX JW kids...or FLAKEY JW kids.
The clothing comments just made Tony seem like an eccentric funny blowhard to most "still in JWs".

I still can't get over the fact that these (self-proclaimed) "spiritual leaders" had the rapt attention of about a million people and they couldn't think of anything more important to discuss that fashion faux pas and vacation destinations.

I saw a facebook post from a good looking sister. she posted a photo of awful looking workout attire. Almost Pentecostal. Skirts and such. She said this is what she was gonna have to wear from now on. I'm pretty confident she was being sarcastic. At least I hope so.
