Thanks Terry, yet another HUGE hole shot in the 1919 bucket of poo doctrine.
How on earth would it make sense to appoint the group in 1919 and yet they didn't know it until 7 or 8 years later ?
The whole evolution of WT/JW doctrine is a pattern of farcical claims, made for things after the event, 1914, 1919 etc etc and then when they prove to be nonsense patch 'em up if possible, if not ditch them. (1925,1975 etc etc).

The Governing Body, FDS, "that slave". . . claims AN INSIDE INTIMACY with Almighty God for ADDITIONAL (extra-Biblical) refinements of teaching!
For the JW's, the Bible is only a warm-up.
In the same manner as the Mormon Church uses their APOSTLES and Pearl of Great Price/ Doctrines and Covenants to FINE-TUNE daily life,
the Governing Body, FDS, "that slave" have taken the steering wheel on behalf of Christians everywhere.
THE ORGANIZATION is the MEDIATOR between Jehovah and the OTHER SHEEP--not Jesus Christ.
This is the justification for being Baptized into ORGANIZATION.

These clowns were saying that by 1922 (23) Russell was the FDS? But now they say the GB was the FDS by 1919? Even thou the GB was not "created" as it is today until the '70s. Crazy.
KEYPOINT:
If you asked an Elder WHERE the proper understanding of Matthew 24 came from (re: GB/Organization) they COULD NOT
tell you it was from Pastor Russell's WIFE!
They DON'T know.
They would NOT believe you even if you read it out of the Watchtower magazine!
It is UNTHINKABLE!
I think our job is to publicize this one fact until they HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING.
