  look in greek dictionaries. they will tell you same thing that non told you. words always have a a range of meanings. you even have that in english.

  similarities in myths do not prove dependence on those myths. that is a basic scholarly axiom. there are both similarities and differences in the buddha story and the Jesus story.

  Whats the meaning of the word "World" in the Bible?

  I know what the word "World" means in dub stereotype. Soon as You read "the world" in a dub publication these feelings are elicited within you, of something...not nice.

  I think Non IS Dunscott.. He has been more careful lately but in his early posts he sometimes slipped and wrote with an very similar style. People started shouting "dunscott", now Non writes more like FredHall.

  Uhhh, I've been to the Kingdom hall where they state infatically that the ONLY people who have a realistic hope of making it through Armageddon need to be aligned with Jehovah's organization..

  Are you stating that there are people OUTSIDE of your organization that have a realistic hope of making it through?

  More specifically, so you don't twist the words, at the EXACT time armageddon comes, do you believe that even 1 person who is NOT a member of the WTBTS in good standing may live through the great tribulation (I think I have that right, anyone corect me if I am in error on the terminology)???

  Specifically, are you now stating that the organization is NOT needed to be a Christian and pleasing in god's eyes?????

  Are you stating that the ENTIRE world (except for those aligned with the organization) is NOT part of Satan's organization? There are exceptions to that rule???

  Oh, and I'm talking about people who have stated clearly and plainly that they believe the organization to be a bunch of hogwash.. I'm not talking about people who have a 'potential' to align themselves with god's organization later on..

  Can a person who rejects the organization, yet still live a Christian life be saved? For that matter, do you believe that a person can live a Christian life without being part of the organization?

  Please answer these questions, I'm on pins and needles awaiting your reply...

  World (cosmos) can mean a few different things. But when James uses world in James 4:4--he means those without the christian congregation.
