When it rains it pours huh?
Just remember though, sometimes things happen for a reason.
I used to work for a loan servicing company and I was pretty miserable. Basically crazy nuts office crapp, running around trying to deal with angry people going into forclosure, getting payments posted to accounts that couldnt be identified. Insane...
Anyway, about 100 of us were laid off and I was pretty depressed since I worked so hard, ya' know.
Two weeks later I found the job of my dreams and wouldnt go back to that rat race if they paid me a million dollars.

Sorry to hear about this. This damn economy has had enough trouble to past couple years and now all the corporate scandals going on are just hurting it more and more when otherwise it is trying to recover.

Moe,
I lost my well-paying job a month ago, so I can empathise with you with the emotions you are going through right now. Give yourself time to cry, scream, get angry, whatever, they're all natural emotions.
I am sure something good will come your way very soon. Sometimes life sucks, but sometimes there's nothing much more you can do but grit your teeth and get back out there.
PS. The world needs more nurses. Best of luck in that endeavour.
