However, his parents are extremely strict, and he does not have the ability to learn from JWs in his community. He has asked me if i would mind helping him online, and of course i would not, but the problem is, im very rarely online. I was wondering if there is anybody here who spends considerable amounts of time online, and would be interested in talking to this boy. Thank You

Zealous Kingdom Proclaimers: News from Canada

Here's the news for the 2002 district convention of Jehovah's Witnesses...

The Convention held already in June 14-16 in Calgary Alberta at Pengrowth Saddledome was interrupted on Sunday when the thousands of our brothers and sisters were forced to evacuate when they were informed that there might be a bomb in the building... I'm not sure the details as I live in a different district... but all present at the convention were evacuated in under 12 minutes, the local police and fire department directing the evacuation expressed how calm and orderly the evacuation had been, brothers in different area's in the safe zones around the building right away began prayers, and the brothers and sisters sang Kingdom melodies as the police and fire department searched the building.

Rumor has it, that a number of Apostates were attending the convention, and spreading apostate literature around the building.

The police could readily recognize who was and who wasn't one of Jehovah's Witnesses when allowing them to return to their seats, if they couldn't tell, they would have to display their Zealous Kingdom Proclaimer Convention cards or their Medical Directives or be identified by someone already checked out as being a witness (or interested one, etc.)

You have got to be kidding me!?! I'd sure hate to go to the assembly and have one of the sessions ruined for me. Honestly, I've stayed away from all the convention spoiler sites this summer just so I could go into it fresh. LOL!
