  • Mimilly
    Mimilly

My nick comes from a book I read....I think it was Bless the Child or something like that (was ages ago). A grandmother, named Mim, went to hell and back to protect her daughter and granddaughter from an evil, satanic society. She succeeded - of course, and I found the character's tenaciousness not dissimilar to mine. 'Mim' was already taken on the board, so I added 'illy', cos I can be silly - yes - really! Hence, Mimilly came about.

I noticed after scrolling those links, there are a LOT of posters I don't see around anymore.

    Where'd everybody go?

Are they still here but posting a different ID? for a change or perhaps to maybe get out of a rut?

I feel like doing that sometimes.

When I was a kid, I was absolute gonzo about monkeys. Loved 'em to death; could spend hours watching 'em at the zoo. You can ask Freud about that one cuz I still don't understand it even though I still think they're cool Then I got addicted to comic books, and Spider-Man is my all time fave. So my name mixes my 2 big childhood loves.

Spice! I can tell you that Naeblis' name comes from a series of novels by Robert Jordan. It is a very good fantasy series in which "Naeblis" is the title that "The Dark One" promises to grant to whichever of his servants proves him/herself best. The right-hand-man to the Devil, basically

Well my name is Joanna...duh, and when I met my best friend Jon for the first time, for some reason he asked what my middle name was. I told him it was too awful to even utter, and he said "Your middle name is Dandy?" From then on he always called me joannadandy. And no I over use Dandy in my everyday vocab, so it fits.
