Xandria, that is a lovely tatoo.
LB I think it depends on the location of the tatoo as to pain, my daughter has 3 some hurt and some do not she said.
She has one around her belly-button, a real conversation piece for doctors when she becomes pregnant and larger in belly. One arm band, and a dolphin on her back (at top) I like them all. My son has a Scottish tatoo on his arm. She said the one on her back was more painful.
I hope it is not to painful for you.
The first two hurt a bit. During the third one, tribal on my calf, I actually fell asleep. Just tough it out you'll be ok.

Neosporin is bad, any antibiotic is, it will leach the ink out of the skin, and you'll have to get more retouching done.

p.s.s. I don't have a tatoo, but I think some of them are really cool. If I did decide to get one, I definately take something for pain. One of my friends got a small fairy on her ankle and she said that, because it was on the ankle bone, it hurt like the dickens. So medicate!!! =;o)

COMF, all I can see is that box with a red X in it. You didn't get a red X tattoo, surely?
Hmmmm.....now I'm having second thoughts. My ring finger is deformed because of a construction accident, and I can't wear a wedding ring. Bikerchic and I have talked about a ring tattoo, but 1) I have very thin blood (years of anti-inflammatories), and 2) I'm a big wuss.
Ideas?
