Sounds like demon problems to me. Do you have any apostate material in your home? Perhaps you went to a website with a downloadable demon, now the demon is stored as bits on your hard drive.

Thanks for the kind thoughts everybody! It seems it was just a 24 hour (or at least 48 hour) virus; I feel fine this morning. Will get some more KM scans up soon.

Yes. Or at least our doctors do. I was wondering if that statement might make our friends from the US take notice. What do you do if you get too sick to go in to see the doctor, Lilacs? Just call an ambulance and go to the ER?

Well, I'm up and around and dressed. Was planning to go into the 'Gong to do some chores, but I still don't feel THAT well - will probably have to wait until tomorrow.

Deepest sympathies, Steph! I'm going through it in Texas - after swimming in our local pool last weekend, our daughter came down with a whopping ear and sinus infection (and she NEVER gets sick), and our son and I got walking pneumonia. So did the neighbor's kids across the street, so I'm pretty sure it was the pool. Big Tex didn't catch anything and he didn't go swimming that day. Anyway, Jackson's better but I went from pneumonia into asthmatic bronchitis so I'm on a second round of antibiotics AND steroids and I feel like the underside of a wombat.

Here's a nifty recipe that's kept me reasonably happy and will help with the cough: juice of one lemon, about a tablespoon of honey, three fingers (or half the beaker/mug) of whisky, and hot water to the top. Stir, inhale the fumes, and if the fumes don't kill you, drink it. Wonderful stuff.

Man, Cruzan - you've been through it this week! You got all that chesty stuff as your symptoms - just make sure you keep looking after yourself - we've come a long way in treatment of such things, but they can still be dangerous! Have you asked the pool people to test their water? Who owns the pool - the council? Perhaps you need to have a talk with them about treating the water more thoroughly/regularly.

As I said, it seems to have been a pretty well 24 hour virus which went nowhere near my chest/throat/sinuses, which suits me down to the ground. However, the aches and pains, babbling in "tongues" and hallucinations weren't terribly welcome, but I'm grateful that it all seems to be over now.

Once again, commiserations, Cruzan, and I hope you get over this soon! {{{{{{cruzanheart}}}}}} (Ain't it true how misery loves company! )
