Hey search...... thats a sticker on the front of my bike. Some lady at work looked at it and shook her head, then told me thats why I smoke. I refrained from telling her I was as healthy as her 400 pound ass.

I smoke cigars, dont care for cigs anymore. Wife does cigs tho, and I take one now and then. I dont smoke in the house, only cuz it sucks to clean the walls. I smoke in my garage tho, and out on my back porch... and in my pool. We have friends that dont smoke, one even said my smoke bothered her... I showed her my shed out back, said thats the non-smoking area. She got the point.

I tried smoking but it's not for me. I hate how addictive it is - fortunately i never smoked enough to even come close to addiction. a few of my acquaintances smoke and it's kind of irritating because everywhere we go they HAVE to have a smoke, and lord don't let them run out because then we have stop whatever we're doing and drive 20 miles out of our way so they can get a cigarette. Friggin annoying as all get-out.

all you smokers, have you seen the movie "The Insiders?" 'tis a must-see flic. This world is a crazy place - they say weed is bad for ya and make it illegal, yet they purposely put huge amounts of nicotine in cigarettes to get people addicted. The whole cigarette industry is NOT about tobacco, it's about the addictive quality and quantities of nicotine so that people will continue to buy them. It's all about SUCKING THE MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET.

I say most "vices" can be enjoyable in moderation, but don't let it run your life. Addictions suck. Just my motto though.

I started sometime before I got df'd and kept it secret for a long time.

I really don't know what made me want that first cigarette. But I started and haven't quit since. Even when I was publicly reproved for smoking.

Aw hell, ya gotta die of something!

And I enjoy the occasional cigar as well. Arturo Fuentes being my favorite. I did once have the pleasure of a Cuban cigar and now the Fuentes are still at the top of my list but got bumped down to #2.

After watching my mother die from lung cancer, which came from her breathing in other people's smoke, I swore I would never smoke.

    And I never will.

I hate the smell of cigarette smoke. It gets in your eyes and in your clothing and your hair. I hate it.

My dad was disfellowshipped for smoking. He smoked before becoming a JW, and missed it terribly the whole 25 years he was in...I even remember my dad finding a brand new cigarette in our hotel room during a district convention...he put it up to his nose and inhaled deeply, smelling the tobacco and drooling over it, but threw it away. He eventually succumbed to the cigarette due to all the "pressure" in his life about 10 years ago, and now smokes 2 packs a day. We own a business together, and although I am the boss and tell him we have a "no smoking" policy, he doesn't listen and lights up whenever he pleases. I have signs all over the place, as well as pictures of diseased lungs that I have attached to his equipment, but it does no good. I told him it would be ironic if I were the one to develop lung cancer from his second-hand smoke. It just makes me angry, because I hate smoking, the taste, the burning in your throat, the smell that lingers in your hair and clothes. He can kill himself if he wants to, but I'll be damned if he kills me too. And, this is me exactly:

Now the smell of pipe!! (I love the smell of coffee, but don't drink that either. Go figure)
