I'd hardly say I have more money than I know what to do with but here's what I did...............

    1. Wasted thousands on American sports cars that have NO value retention.

    2. Wised up and bought a '99 Carrera C4 - put a DVD player with Dolby 5.1 digital surround sound in it. Bought an Audi TT (like I need 2 sports cars (boggle))

    3. Bought a modest home - I'm single I don't need a mansion.

    4. Bought 16 acres in a development for future use if I decide to have a family.

    5. Got my girlfriend's teeth fixed - those implants that don't stain ect.

    6. Payed off my girlfriends debt and helped her get her own apartment.

    7. Donate to my fraternity's national chapter.

    8. Donate to Disabled American Veterans.

    9. Wasted thousands on drugs cause I had everything materially and not much emotionally. (mostly fixed now)

    10. Let friends live with me rent free so they could get back on their feet.

    11. Took a car loan out for a friend. He co-signed and made all but 2 of the payments (he got his lease vehicle repossessed).

    12. Bought a friend a Gucci watch for christmas.

    13. Got used by a lot of people and didn't really care.

14 Dropped a few thousand in Vegas and didn't really care.

    15. Bought a plasma TV and 3000 watt home entertainment system.

    16. Countless times took numerous friends out to eat or drink and picked up the tab.

17 Amassed near 750 CDs - I have a box in the basement that I let friends who come over brouse through and take what they want.

Believe me money doesn't solve all your problems, actually it causes a whole new set of them. People hate you for no reason sometimes, have stereo types for you, give you dirty looks while driving for no reason, and you are payed more attention to (in a bad way as in trying to find fault) as my congragation did. I think those who answered they want the things money can't buy have the right idea. Some people don't understand that expensive things also cost a lot to maintain as well. Would you like to have to pay 1200 for a new set of tires? Or 250 dollars for an oil change and maintaince? Nothing I wrote was to gloat...I would say I'm a very generous person. Just an alternate perspective.

I forgot to add that I DO still work for our family business. I love my job, that's really important to me.

    Well son,

Since I'm doin exactly what I love to do, I'd probably give most of the $ away to charitites of my choice and keep on havin fun grownin mushrooms in my cave.

Hey, where's Uncle Bruce? Dam, he took all my bat quano. Guess I'd save out a little to buy a few sacks of bat crap to make my mushrooms grow better.

Hey man, between the tune-ups on the yacht and the chicks, I plan on being dead broke by the end of my first circumnavigation of the globe.

    I doubt I'd even give a damn.

I've dreamed of this often. LOL

What I would do if I had a few million.

    1. I'd pay off all of my sisters and mothers bills.

    2. I'd pay all of my best friend, Matties bills

    3. Open trust funds for my kids

    4. I'd buy the old farm that my grandpa had in Minnesota and restore it to look like new. I'd then buy pigs, sheep, cows, horses and chickens and relive the best years of my life. That's right, I would be a farmer and grow my own feed for the animals, just like my grandpa did. Of course, I'd have to hire help so that I could travel around the world to meet people I have come to love on this forum.

My place here in NC, I would give it to someone who had children and couldn't aford a place of her own.

I'd donate to the make a wish foundation.

I would pay off all debt, give my dad enough $$$ to retire on and enjoy life, help my sisters out some, make sure they prepare themselves better for life's challenges, help friends, and travel & enjoy life ... then either start a program for recovering exjw's and a home for young jw's who were thrown out of their homes b/c they were d/f or d/a.

I may not be rich in $$$ but I am $$$ in love.

IF love was money I would be a freaking millionare.

If you had so much money that you didn't have to work, how would you spend your time?

    Greatest get rich fantasy?

P.S. ...in a new $150,000 fully loaded Mercedes Benz. Typical weekend morning: pickup the P.O., a group of the friends at the K.H. (or C.O. and his wife when their in town) in my shiny new Mercedes, park in front of the local Starbucks, order lattes for everyone, pass out new notebook computers to the friends, and relax at tables inside out of the hot summer sun, under the nice coooooool air-conditioning, for the entire morning, as we all log time on this site using the fully loaded laptops I loaned everyone, each equipped with new Starbucks wireless internet service "Wi-Fi" cards, occasionally interrupted by the chuckles of the C.O. and his wife as they tell-off some apostate in a chat room somewhere on the net...

I'd like to buy the world a coke.

SO if its about $0.21 per can and I multiply that by the approximately 6 billion people on earth ...

    ...

That comes out to about $1,260,000,000.00 which just happens to be my life savings.

First and foremost...secure the future financially (this would be in the form of real estate investments)...then...

Spoil the ones I love and who love me back...that is where true wealth lies anyway.

I would buy a house. I would also pay for me and RT's schooling.

I echo the thoughts by Mimilly and Metatron, and a few of those written by TBoy. (Welcome).

Other than that, I would move back to the east coast and go to Harvard or Princeton Medical School, become a doctor and donate my services to the poor or uninsured.

I actually have everything I want now; I could stand a bigger house (we're planning to upgrade inthe spring anyway) and a new SUV (which I was also planning to buy in the spring.)

I'm really not into being materialistic. I would get along great with Kelsey's friend's wife! (Welcome Kelsey)
