If it was me I think I would go with him to the hall to make him happy and just cherish the time you have together, dont let the truth come between you now. So sorry that this is happenig to you.

Golden Girl, my heart goes out to you. I know how hard this is, getting the news that someone you love is dying, is the most awful thing to hear. Right now, I am in a similar position, my grandma is dying of liver cancer.

The moments that you have left with your hubby are so very precious. Treasure them, do the things you want to do with him, talk, tell him how much he means to you, cause nothing is worse than things left unsaid. Write your feelings down, and write down the things he said to you, the things that move your heart. Writing will help you deal with the pain, and later on, you'll want the memories.

As for going to the Kingdom Hall, maybe you should, it would give your hubby some peace, I know it is difficult. A few days ago my grandma began talking about the new system, how she would close her eyes and wake up in paradise. I lied to her, I agreed with her. That faith is what gives them hope, I lie, so that I won't take that away from them.

Golden Girl...........you are in my prayers...a year ago my sister was confirmed as having bowel cancer, they gave her till xmas, difficult to treat as it's can't be operated on. I sent her to a private "alternative" dietrician who specialised in this cancer who put here on a special diet and gave her mental support too.....within months she was in remission and the last two xrays have been clear........we are here to support you through this time

I am so sorry. The prospect of losing a mate has to be one of the hardest things we face.

When my mother was dying of cancer 2 years ago, I crawled up in her bed and told her that i was going to start going back to the hall and that my brother was interested, too. i told her I would see her in paradise. I don't care that I lied and I would do it again.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

this is so awful for you and your husband....when he is gone,,,you will want to look back and you

will need to feel reassurred,,,that you did every thing for him possible to bring him joy,,,,do not let

the organization of witnesses divide you at this point...to hell with them...make him happy,,,and lie

through your teeth if you have to...in the end,,,you will be so grateful you did that...you will have

given your every thing for him....that thought alone will bring you so much comfort....many hugs to

you both,,,....
