Most elders I know congregate on the street corner and just talk and gossip. But as long as "they take the lead" they are o.k.

If that is where the elders are, minimus, then I must follow their lead and congregate on the corners, gossiping.
Don't like preaching? Then get your own territory and work alone but don't knock on the doors. If you find any literature already in the door, remove it. Go to laundromats and clear out any WT literature. Mail silentlamb literature anonymously to the homeowners using the PO's return address (wear gloves when handling anything).
