Hello Mark: I just read yeaterday's post and am too sick over this to say much. How in the world can parents ever do such a thing as burn a child's baby pictures in front of her ... this was the ultimate rejection, the very worst thing they could have done ... all so unloving, uncaring, and unthinkable. As soon as you post the email address of Adele I will send her a letter. Thanks for telling of this, as I know it must be painful to do so.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. The utter cruelty inflicted on that poor child is inexcusable. I hope the biological parents know that her blood is on their hands. I hope someone has the wherewithall to pursue a "wrongful death" suit against the parents and the organization that promotes this kind of bullying, contempt and hatred that would drive a young woman with a promising future to end her own life. Another kind of Silent Lamb - so true Dede.

This is utterly awful. There is little I can add to the things already posted about
this tragedy
except to say that this young woman's story needs to be told.
not to exploit a horror
but to to give meaning to a life cut short by the wanton
cruelty of others.
Can I remember times when I felt like throwing my teenage daughter out?
Yes, I'm so thankful it never came to this - and that we can talk about it
and laugh a little at it now.
I'm so sorry others won't be that lucky.

You know you did the best you could. That is all that is expected of any one of us (but we NEVER got that message from the WTBTS)
My condolences go to both you and Adele for trying to help someone so crushed by a "high control group".
If you need to vent, we are here for you Mark. Please don't bear this tragedy alone.

Mark, I'm so sorry.
The whole scenario of the WTS reminds me of a movie from the 60s called A Town Without Pity and it seems as though a teen girl committed suicide over the heartlessness of the town. The congregation is the town.

My heart is breaking inside out Celtic, yesterday when I read the post I was wondering how could parents do this to their sweet girl, what kind of people are they? Cold stones. Rotton to the core. My body ached for her and then that dear lady Adele taking her in to her home and caring and loving her what a hero. And now this sweet child all mixed up inside her very being couldn't take it anymore the only way she sees any relieve from her agony in spite of Adele's love is to take her own life. Her suffering is to great and no one understands.The torture in her mind and heart was to great for her. Please take my pain away. And so she did. What a tragic waste. How sad and I am crying for her. Dear Adele, you are the kindest sweetest dear lady and you did all that you could and may God bless you for this. And Celtic Mark you are a knight in shinning armour! OH this really breaks my heart. Just a sweet young child. I can't imagine the pain of those close to her. It's pretty easy to get angry, and I am, but I'm thinking about her. What a difficult age it is to be just 16 and to feel hopeless on top of it. Should there actually be a heaven above, I hope she has found herself a beautiful spot surround by true friends that will always love her.
