Mulan, I always enjoy your posts. But that is a serious accusation and should not be thrown about lightly. Was this case ever tried in court or taken to authorities? If not, then that can turn into a serious case of slander. This is obvious by the number of people on this thread alone who are inclined to believe it without a single ounce of evidence besides a second hand accusation. Jaracz has always kind of creeped me out, but I'm certainly not going to let that sway me to believe he is a molester on hearsay alone. Forgive my skepticism Mulan, but I only know you through reading a few of your posts and I don't know your friend one bit. For all I know, she could be heading into senility early or a compulsive liar or anything. It's sad to see people quickly pin someone with a label that can stay with them the rest of their life, right or wrong.
I agree. I believe her memory, but memories can be wrong. Sometimes I wake in the morning absolutely POSITIVE that something happened, and in seconds I realize it was a vivid dream. I know there are people who can't differentiate.
I don't know this gal well, but she seems like a normal person, with a horrific past, full of terrible sexual abuse.
I was told it was okay to report the name. I believe there is more evidence on this subject, and about other GB members. Thus, another reason they don't want to reveal their records.
A hundred ... I was of the understanding there would be around a couple of dozen and whole lot of symbolic lambs.
Considering the coverage of the shinanigans in DC, it's a wonder news teams took the time to show up at all in Brooklyn.
Re: Jaracz
Slander...yep, it's a shadow we must acknowledge...and be careful of. But come on folks, let's not get so picky, picky, picky here. WT has many skeletons - skeletons that have hurt and continue to hurt. What does Jaracz have to lose? his reputation? yeah right...protected in the ivory tower. I know the person who has accused Jaracz. And I agree with Mulan that she is credible. This is another one of those accounts that makes me so angry about JWs and sexual assault. There was no way that the victim could ever have pursued prosecution. If children have trouble reporting sexual assault/molestation now do you think anyone would have heard a 10 year old girl 40 years ago? Elders, COs, and DOs back then were considered next to God himself. She has been tormented by this since childhood and continues to be raped emotionally by the congregation elders (I personally know some of the elders in the congregation this woman most recently associated with). It would give her (and many more of us) great satisfaction if this could have been prosecuted. This victim would just like to have some peace.

Thank you, Mrs. Rocky. I forgot you know her too. Many on this board know her, and believe her account of her rape. One of the worst things that can happen to a rape or molestation victim, is for people to not believe them. That is what they are told will happen, and it's why so many never tell.
As the people who were at the march, get to computers, we are sure to hear lots more about the march. I forgot to turn on the TV, to see the news. I'll do that now. Maybe the "ticker tape" at the bottom of the screen, on CNN, will have something.
Hi Mulan,
I feel compelled to speak on her behalf. She has endured so much over such a long period of time and now her physical health has not been good. So really, it would be wonderful for her to just have some peace.

ok i just got back from the march::::oh boy it was good there was one reporter from the WB network she stayed the whole time. they had to take over an hour of film..when we got to the wt.. all the zombies were looking out the windows..when we pointed at them they ran away.when some of the jw,s came out to talk to the reporters we throw the lambs at them...the best part was when bill went to the gate and rang the intercom. to talk to them they turned off the intercom.....i met all there they were all nice people...there was a spanish tv sta. canadian tv, and some AM radio stations...and newspapers...we were in front of the wt for at least an hour.... they let the reporters into the wt one at a time.. but they never talked to one of us.i'd say we had close to 100 there....john
