I love caffeine. I need caffeine. I would not be a pleasant person at all in the am, if there was not such a thing as coffee.

One year, during pre District Convention work, we were all drinking coffee (several Circuit overseers, a District overseer, pioneers galore, and many elders) and someone said they were taking coffee away from us at the next year's DC. One of the circuit overseers, never missed a beat, and said "they will have to close Bethel down then. It runs on coffee."

I never worried about it after that.

That's scary sh**, dragon. And pathetic.

What a couple of morons. I would've told them to shove it up their ass. What about their addiction::: f***ing with people.

OMG, I cannot BELIEVE you got counselled for drinking coffee! Will the absurdity never end?

I was counselled for caffiene addiction as well...

I was also counselled for wearing clothes that were too sexy and for not getting out in service enough... I was both physically ill and emotionally depressed... so sure, pick on me... THAT will help!

    Witch Child,

They call harassment encouragement. They think depression is related solely to how many magazines we shove into people's hands. Thank goodness for clearly defined Witness values.

Okay, I admit it, I'm a coffee junkie.

I was counselled for lighting up a cigarette in the KH parking lot. Guess that doesn't fit in this thread though.

There is a passage in the OT about some folk who were obviously "in good standing" with the great Jah who were into eating mandrake root, whateverinhellthatis. Maybe it's the same as ginseng, I don't know. But it is purportedly addicting. I reported this find to the elders. They didn't like receving the information.

I was counseled one time because of the "way" I "looked at" women in the congregation. I guess when I was younger, I had what were known as "bedroom eyes" so I was told. I don't to this day know what that means, and I'll bet no one would tell me that today. But I was counseled about it. One of the elders that spoke with me was secretly kiting checks, the other is a pederast. What a dysfunctional group.

Francois, aren't your eyes just a tad bloodshot? Perhaps due to your "bedroom eyes"?

I was counseled once for "over-elaborate" comments. In other words, I was using big words!
