What book is that freemindfade? It is quite incredible.
I agree with searcher, after spending so much time with him already you should ask him some questions to make him think and start to do some of his own research.

I was going to write something like Splash said. If a JW believes now what the JWs believed when they were "chosen" by Jesus, they'd be disfellowshipped.
And if they were chosen, why reveal BS to them? Take 1914. Why would Jesus or God make them think people of teen years in 1914 would see the end by the time they were 70 or 80? Then, why would he "fix" the problem by making them think all you had to do was be born by 1914? Then why would he "fix" it again by saying a generation (genea) could be longer than 80 years? Then why would he "fix" the problem again by talking about overlapping generations? If God is a God of truth and the overlapping generations is finally the truth, why not lay that out there decades ago?
Is God ineffectual? Is it like a cherades game? God's up in front of the GB doing hand signals, but nobody's guessing it right?
The WTS. and its history shows clearly of what the bible and the words of Jesus Christ described about false prophets . ....and what did Jesus say what his true followers should do upon coming to a false prophet ?
The important question remains . who do you want to be subjectively loyal to, the Watchtower Corporation or Jesus Christ ?
@Fink,
In that same article they state:
“Appointed over his domestics”: In 1919, Jesus selected capable anointed brothers to be his faithful and discreet slave
Unfortunately your argument won't fly. They claim that they are appointed over the domestics (JWs) but not over his belongings (heavenly authority).

Still, setting a time on their own is against Jesus's own direction, pertaining to earthly or heavenly, not even taking into account the felonious use of Pyramidology or otherwise. It is not a man made decision to make or attempt to calculate.
Like I said previously the WTs used and exploited the return of Christ as a valuable and viable marketing ploy to draw attention to the literature the WTS produced and published.
Other Christian based preachers had done so likewise such as William Miller, ironically he too went about selling books and giving public talks.
From the late 1800's to 1935 - Jehovah's Witnesses taught that The Jewish people were Gods Chosen Nation. The organization taught that the New Covenant was for the Jews.
So to answer your question : if Jesus chose the organization in 1919, why didn't any one inform the organization of this selection until 1935?
ask your new friend why the Org removed the word "double" from Isaiah 40:2 - This scripture was used heavily by the early Watchtower to prove that the Jews would reinhabit Palestine in the near future (Which happened in 1948).
