My son has an older friend who is 23 years old. We call him Primo. He lives out here in the Landing(as we call it). He came by looking for my son, who is babysitting for Debbie. Her grandmother passed away the other day. (They went to the funeral home tonight.) Anyway, he knocks on the door, and when I opened it, asked for Steven. I told him that he wasn't home. He then asked if he could tell me something, and I not be offended. I said, sure, what is it? He then told me that he likes older women and for the longest time he has had a crush on me. I told him I was flattered but that I have been that route before and It wasn't for me, but that I appreciate it. I also told him that there are a lot of nice girls out there who would be very lucky to have him. He is such a sweet guy. Handsome too. Shari, of the, maybe I've still got it after all, class.

I worked with a man, who was just like that fellow. He was in his early 30's and went after women in their late 40's and 50's. He was VERY good looking and married. I asked him once why he was attracted to older women..............he shrugged his shoulders. I suspect it is because they are safe...............unlikely to get pregnant, and long time married, so no STD''s. Everyone knew what he was like. He came after me in a big way. I was so shocked, ...........I was overweight, 50 and a grandmother. He refused to take the age difference as a deterrant, and said I was a fabulous woman. I went back to Seattle...............he was in Malaysia, and was an East Indian. So good looking............pitter pat. Scared me to death.

Normally I would think that way toobut, after he said it and after I said what I had to say about it. He said that he hopes that I won't think any less of him.

I think a lot has to do with being able to tell their friends that they can get an older woman. I went through a stage where I liked men a little younger than me. It wasn't a good idea. Now, I like men a little older than me. I guess I've come full circle, seeing when I was young, I liked older men.

Tell that little generation X'er, you understand his dilema. That you sympathize, with the him, for the slim pickin's his generation of young women offer.

I don't know about you, but in my area of the world, these young people are almost worthless. Many business owner's I come in contact with, complain that they are now refusing to hire anyone in thier early teens or twenties.

No work ethic, only concerned about what 'they' want, and unreliable. What's with these kids?

But I know that 'come on' was good for your ego.........so more power to the guy! I know I would have been pleased if a 23yr old gal did the same!!!!

Ummmmm not that "I" would know, but I have "heard" that many younger men that are attracted to older women is because there aren't the head games to deal with like there are with women their own age.

Older women tend to be more secure.

Older women tend to know what they want and aren't not afraid to ask for it, or least show "them" how to give it to them.

Older women are less inhibited.

Older women are usually have no interest in a commitment.

Makes sense to me!
