You're right Angharrad; it's incredible that the Queen only just remembered to mention it this week after 2 years!

Apparently she did'nt mention it before as noone had contacted her and she did'nt realise it was significant!

The plot thickens...I wonder what embarassing and humiliating details that the Royals would like to stayhidden would have appeared if the trial had carried on...

The exam went OK thanks, just have to wait until chritmas for results. We did have a little gathering at a local pub a couple of months ago. Simon took some pictures but with everythingthat has been going on hasn't had the time to post them (or email them to the people who asked) as they need reducing in size first, He will get around to it soon.

BTW: Has your email address changed I tried to email you the other week and it didnt go through.

Some seem to think the queen is a great lady, but from her actions or lack of same after Diana died I came to the coclusion she is a royal pain in the arse.

I was just chatting with an old lady friend of mine in England this morning. She thinks that since the Butler was due to give his evidence next week, that the Queen was maybe afraid he knew or would reveal some secrets about the Monarchy, so she stepped in and stopped it. She too thinks the Monarchy is in it's last days. I feel sad for the Queen, she seems to be the last of her breed.

She also mentioned a flap you are having over Apache helicopters, no one to fly them and their expense could have built and staffed many hospitals for many years. What a waste both our governments do to have weapons.

Simon, Robyn, don't forget we Americans already have our own Royals, the Kennedys.

From statements I hear from Hillary, it seems she feels the Clintons should also be included as Royals.

I see them all as Royals, Royal Pains in The A**.

I'm wondering if the Queen is getting Alzheimers, or if she's just plain stunned.............the only reason she finally got off her royal butt and did something is because she happened to mention it to Prince Charles on the way to church last week. Charles obviously new the seriousness of the situation and told her she needed to talk to the police........DUH! MY NAME'S ELIZABETH!

I used to like the Queen but after the heartless way she acted when Diana died, I have no respect left for her at ALL..........the only down to earth one is Fergie and look how they treated her!
