    Breeze.

Ive probly said this before, but what the hell... My old man was an elder when I got reproved, he resisted the decision vigorously. Why wouldnt he? It made HIm look bad in a sense. Anyway, later one of those elders decided that the wrong decision had been made and they acted hastily. The Rule on "reproof" had just come in, maybe they were overeager to try it out. Anyway, the elder apologized to my old man for reproving me (so the family lore tells it). I thought that odd. Noone said a word to me.

Actually, later when I got into trouble with the fornication thing, the elders cut me a LOT of slack.A lot of things were ignored and eyes averted. It was YEARS before they took action against me. Maybe there is mercy in Jehovahs organization after all??

I summoned all the elders I know to a public meeting to answer my charges against them and NONE of them showed.

I would love to meet with them. My place, my time! Cameras on, tape rolling.

    They are gutless wimps.

When I was in my mid to late teens I lived in the Commitee Room-- Smoking, Drinking, and running around with worldly girls was my preoccupation at the time. My mother used to get phone calls from other Witness Mothers that I was a bad influence on their sons. I guess now that I look back-- is that I just couldn't take the religion seriously. Especially after studying that fat red book at the tuesday night meeting. I think it was called Babylon The Great has Fallen God's Kingdom rules. I thought --what a bunch of crock!! And now , 30yrs after I was DFed , and all the changes to the so called "TRUTH"--- I don't regret a thing.

    refiners fire...

I am not sure I would call it mercy?

They talk about mercy but I have seen little of it while dealing with me?

I do know that I would have been a very different person had they decided not to DF me?

I was real curious about the world anyway and when the final word came down it was like they said OK, GO....and I did, I got involved with several girls/women and started my years of alcohol abuse during the years I was out?

Ah... Spock. Kirk here. Thank you for posting your first post in my thread. I see youve been "lurking" a good while before deciding to post. Welcome. I remember that "Babylon" book. I got it on the shelf right here.

When I got baptized the first time. When I confessed and got reproved. When I requested rebaptism. When I confessed to masturbation. When I confessed to fornication. When I got DF.

    Masturbation is not a committee-case.

    Only once:

I was smoking and some little rat snitched on me, while she was having an affair.

    Damn vices anyways!!!!!

Me, I had my first no no when I was a servant(ms) for smoking weed back in 76'. I didn't tell for 5 months. Why?

I found an article that said if a sin had been commited in the past and a lot of time had passed...there was no need to drag it up again. That was a one and only article. Then came an assembly and the Watchtower that was discussed that Sunday dealth with covering over sin's. I told on myself and got removed and reproved.

Then about 19 years later in 95 I got busted for tobacco and pills. I had been before the brothers for this before but not judicially untill then. I actually asked to be DFed because I felt I deserved it at the time as I couldn't stop my addiction. They agreed.

Mrs Ozzie and I refused the "kind" request to meet with a JC, since we beleived we had nothing to do with whomever would serve in that onerous capacity.

This didn't hinder them doing their darnedest!

    So, a big ZERO

I was in that backroom so much they shouldn't even call it the 2nd school. They should call it Diamonds room. I was there numerous times as a teen and several times as an adult. Just couldn't seem get that JW thing right. Still can't.
