If you are a true believer, you may unconsciously make things happen so that they agree with your chart.

    Fox,

I can see your point. The power of suggestion is a strong force. But I think that most people into astrology would disagree with you.

I have friends all over Southeast Asia who were surprised that Westerners aren't as into astrology as they are. The first question they asked me, when I met them was "what is your star sign". It helps them evaluate you. I was still a semi-witness then, so was glad I knew the answer. They approve of Virgos evidently.

I've read a bit about it, and am unsure what I believe. My husband is a Sagitarrius, but definitely is more like a Scorpio in personality. I am a Virgo but am more of a Leo. Even the Asian people said that about me. They said my mother made a mistake and I was born two weeks earlier.

The WT taught me to be closed minded- life has taught me to be more oprn minded. I remember how history teaches that most of the world at one time thought the world was flat. They lived in fear of falling off the edge of the planet. Therefore exploration of the planet was hindered for hundreds of years because of closed minds.

I have never seen a ghost or a flying saucer. Many claim they have. I keep my mind open to such beliefs. It is said that down in the Florida keyes a man built a coral house (mansion) single handedly. It is also said that he moved the enitre structure in one night to a new location. Though he died without ever explaining his feat to anyone claims have been made that he depended on astrology. That when the stars and planets are aligned in a certain way gravety can be defeated??? All I know is that these events are claimed to have happened. In life amazing unexplanable things happen.

Though I never read horiscopes I do wonder with amazement at the vastness of the universe and wonder how how well organized this vastness seems to be. Then one must wonder what influence all these stars and planets have on each other and our lives.

I'm a skeptic at heart so I don't believe in it at all. However, it is not my job to tell others what they should believe and what they should not. I find astrology to be pretty fun and that is it. One of the most common personality flaws of a skeptic and atheist is arrogance. While it is human nature to express your opinion, I think to do it on a consistant basis to try and prove your "superior" intellect is just stupid. By the way, I'm a Virgo.

It is kind of strange how close my personality fits into the Virgo sign but then that is the point of astrology, be general enough in terms to have it fit with most everyone.

    Hello to you all

At this moment in time i am unable to write about Astrology as it is time consuming and i am busy getting ready for my wedding next week, what i would like to say is this, forget about Sun Sign astrology and study Soul astrology, the planets energies and find a reputable astrologer and have your birth chart done. Find an astrologer that draws your chart up by hand and not by computer.

Nothing can compare to a personal sitting with someone who has the art of interpretation, i have had my birthchart done and those of my children and grandchildren it has helped me understand them better.I have 2 grandchildren who are witnesses and it is right there in there charts, the effect of the mother and father and religous issues in their childrens lives and let me tell you they have a very tough time ahead. Please don't take my word for it study what you can and watch it work.

    Thanks for listening

ps one day soon i will tell you what happened to me personally and how my life was healed through indepth astrology.

Write up a standard astrological profile, give the exact same profile to a group of people all born at different times of the year, and all of them will say that the write up is accurate. Yes, my friends, people are easily fooled by foolishness. This experiment was done many years ago by a professor at Wayne State University and has been replicated in recent times.

Sorry Matty, I guess that is why I don't get invited to parties. When I do show up, here is what they sing, "every body loves a pooper, that's why we're in love with you, party pooper, party pooper." Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. By the way Matty, I want to apologize for my harse post to you regarding tests. What I said was true, but not said in a nice way at all. It did not inform or educate. It was insulting, and I am sorry I wrote it. (If I was Catholic, I would go to confession over this.)

No, that's fine. If it was said by someone I didn't know that well it would probably have put my nose out of joint somewhat, but I'm quite happy for people I know to throw down the gaunlet a bit and open up some lively debate.
