  Larc - Oh, really? You think? Interesting... seeing how I know all standard astrological profiles, and I fit very few of them. Also, I have done many charts, and no 2 are alike, and some differ a GREAT deal. In fact, to date, no chart I have seen comes close to describing me... other than my own...

  Sun - The "Generic" You

  Moon - Emotions, Sexuality, Inner-Self

  Mercury - Communication

  Mars - Passions

  Venus - Love & Relationships (platonic also)

  Saturn - Karma & Life Lessons

  Jupiter - Luck

  Rising/Ascendant - The way the world view you

  And I could go on... and on...

  Mr Moe, then you are more intelligent than the 100% of the people who went through the experiment. Now, I know my date of birth. I don't know the time of day, if that matters. Let me ask you, a question. If I described my personality, could you tell my sign from the information I gave you?

  The ones I've read aren't that generic. That's why I fit the Leo profile and don't see myself in the Virgo one.

  And my husband, the Saggitarius, does not fit the profile. He is a Scorpio through and through. His birthday is November 23. (right on the edge of both)

  No, it does not make me more intelligent, just means I do charts silly. It is possible for me to assume your Sun Sign, I would need lots of personal info. Main thing about a GOOD astrology profile, is the EXACT time of birth. That is where all the good stuff is. The rest is far too generic. No Moon sign or Rising/Ascendant sign without that data. And those are VERY important. Also, so is house placement, and without the time of birth... your chart is crap.

  Did the study involve birth times? Also, how were the profiles written? Were they generic for the sole purpose of biasing the research study by a person set against astorolgy? Or were the charts done by a TRUE professional?

  This is what one source says about Virgo's. Not me at all!! (this is what I am supposed to be)

  On the surface they are emotionally cold, and sometimes this goes deeper, for their habit of suppressing their natural kindness may in the end cause it to atrophy, with the result that they shrink from committing themselves to friendship, make few relationships, and those they do make they are careful to keep superficial.

  Here is what it says about Leo's. This is me through and through. I am open to a fault.........no one wonders about me, because I am so open. I have been disappointed so many times, because I am not a good judge of character and am TOO trusting. I'm working on that. But, I'm a Virgo.

  In his or her relations with others the Leo type is open, sincere, genuine and trusting. Outgoing, spontaneously warm hearted and plain spoken, though never lacking in kindliness, Leos are more disillusioned than the average if let down by those they trust. They are not good judges of character and are inclined to favoritism and an exaggerated faith in their followers which too often ends in disappointment.   Mulan - I am a cusp myself. I am some things like an Aquarius, but more like a Capricorn. But, most of all, the things in my chart based upon my time of birth (Moon & Rising) are so accurate!Did you know that often times, cusp babies are the "other" sign, depending on the year? The tables used are very old and have been used for hundreds if not for thousands of years, and do not take into account that time cycles of the planets do not match set human scales. FYI - Mulan - You emotions are your moon sign. Any astrologer that goes by you moods and emotions based upon your "main" Sun Sign is not very good. Your posting manner and even facial features are very typical of a Virgo rather than a Leo.

  Having your total chart done is CUSTOM (NEED BIRTH TIME!!!,) instead of trying to cookie cut you into a group of 1 out of 12 persons.

  Ok, here goes. I LOVE Leo folks, they are great warm fun people, but they have an ego larger than the state of Texas, and it shows through. Also, they are prone to being heavy later in years. They are also on the sloppy side and have tendancies to being lazy.

  You though, are like a Virgo in this manner. You are thin in frame, and post in that "anal" sort of Virgo way. Such as this statement "I know so little about it. Really, I post like a Virgo? Very interesting. I should do it I guess, just for the fun of it."

  Now, a Leo would have been more inclined to say. "Oh really? I don't know a whole lot, maybe when I have th chance I will look into it, but don't count on me to beleive any of that stuff."

  Please please please anybody looking at astrology, stop basing your emoitons on teh generic classifications of your Generic Sun Sign. A LARGE portion of you is your MOON sign, and of course for that, you need precise time of birth.

  Also, another tid-bit of info - you look either like your Rising/Ascendant sign or Sun Sign in Physical features, if not a blend of the two. This info is for of course those that are not forever skeptics. I am posting in regards to this not to argue about it, but because i think it is fun!!!

  I am opened minded about anything right now. I know my indian relatives had their own versions of a form of spirituality that centered around alot of the natural forces and nature.

  I go out late at nite, really it is often 2 am , and stare at the stars and wonder what is out there. It seems that time , the stars are so clear. I feel like I can meditate, even pray when I am out under the stars. I just like to be outside and feel being inside holds me in, I do my best thinking feeling the wind around me, the ground under my feet and the heavens above me.

  I think maybe there is a side to me I have not look into, about these things.

  I was born Dec. 20, 1966, so I am Sagittarius, almost didnt make it by one day...... would have been another sign.............. Sagittarius is half man and half horse right..?,,, I happen to think the horse, is the most beautiful animal God made. It symbolizes everything I find beautiful....... freedom, strength, grace, and the joy of running in the wind. I used to be a barrel racer and my dad bred horses, and I could always connect with my horses.My favorite place to be was in the barn with them.

  MrMoe, I've always wondered about birth time, because being in the birthing field I know that we manipulate births now. There are few births that occur naturally without some interference from the medical field, so how does birth time play such an important role in astrology?
