I met with one of Ray's friends for lunch last week and we discussed this feud at length.

Until I hear the tapes (not read the transcripts) I believe that Ray did NOT talk with the media regarding the SL issue.

While I have supported SL in the past - morally and in other ways too I find it disconcerting indeed that he is now surrounded by activists and not many strategists. I truly hope Bill has the foresight to think about the future of SL. He has accomplished incredible things up to now and it will be terrible if it is wasted.

Allowing victims to run the show doesn't work. We see that in the US justice system - allowing victims to run the shoiw just sets up vigilante justice which never succeeds in the long term. Clear thinking advocates need to apply strategy to the issues at hand.

Everyone that doesn't think that BB is God must be against the Silentlambs movement.

Thank you donkey, from what I have read, Ray did not talk to the media, he does not think the two witness rule should apply to pedophelia, does not think that the Watchtower Society of today is handling this matter properly. How much more can the man say? If the man at the age of 80+ decides he does not want to take on this battle. WELL, THEN YOU TAKE IT ON AND LEAVE THE ELDERLY MAN ALONE!

Larc and teejay, I agree with your statements. It's amazing how people half or a third Ray Franz's age think that they tell him what to do!

Leave the guy alone. He doesn't have to take a stand on ANYTHING.

After the Silentlambs issue has died down, will Ray be expected to take a stand on every other cause that comes out? Will he be hammered because he doesn't fully support certain personalities?

I hope not.
