  I'm a woman - and thus carefully excluded myself from the comparison between Franz & Bowen and their maleness. However, I do concur that I'm not totally right in anything - and I've never attacked Franz or Bowen....nor said either man was totally wrong.

  Actually, I believe both men make good points, even if they are men.

  I for one am tired of Bill Bowen's being called "Silent Lambs". This organization is more than Bill Bowen, as many survivors will testify to.

  Regardless of what this organization evolves into, and who is at the helm, inside you will find 100's of abuse survivors who have united to provide each other with comfort & support. Because of their unique circumstance of also being JW's,making the situation worse in most cases, it is truly theraputic to be involved with persons who know exactly where one is coming from.

  So while making your criticisms of Bill Bowens, please refer to him as Bill Bowens. Don't allow him or yourself to take the rest of Silent Lambs down with whatever "other" disagreements happen to be going on.

  No need to take a back seat to men. After all we teach that women are equal to men in the faith and have taken a lot of flack for that position. We are after all disciples of the same Lord and Savior and no one should be viewed as inferior due to such gender. We all will be judged according to our deeds and not the deeds (and teaching) of others so we are both free to speak up in the interest of Christ. No! We do not have a middle ground to stand on. There was no middle ground on the Law in the days of the apostles even though some attempted to create one for Gentiles. There is no middle ground when it comes to Antichrist or the man of Lawlessness. They are what they are based upon what they teach. So now is as good a time as any to get such things out in the open

  This is one of the reasons why I don't post as often as I use to. To start a thread that is going to incite people bashing is not very productive. That's too bad, there are many fine people on this forum who's opinions I respect. ( even if I don't agree with them ) All of us has had our share of shit in the borg and it may take years of struggling to come to terms with things.

  Please remember this, freedom of expression is a beautifull thing. So be carefull of those you criticize if you first have not walked in there shoes!!

  "Silentlambs" is the name used by Bill Bowen to sign his posts. As I understand it, that's the way he wants to be addressed. So, if there's a problem, I think you need to address your remarks to him and not the rest of us.

  If we're gonna "blame" any particular person, we ought to be blaming the "judge" (Rutherford). He's the one that wrested control of the WTB&TS and started it down its twisted path!

  Lol.......depends on the individual man or woman. I'm smart enough to recognize that there are persons who I would rightly take a "backseat" to.

  But, my initial post about Franz & Bowen had to do with the thought that neither of them were 100% right on anything...and both being male.

  Some would consider that tongue-in-cheek female humor, Joseph.
