Hi and welcome Papinoe!
How exactly are video games evil? Will they reach out from the screen and "meddle" with your frontal lobe? REALLY! Get a grip!
Are you going to post again?
You are right that most Dubbies can't think for themselves though...

What's wrong with Horror movies?? I love Horror movies!!!! You can't possibly be talking about all that ketchup they use. LOL
I didn't read the whole article(I just couldn't make myself do it) but I didn't see anywhere where it mentioned hand to eye coordination. It has been studied and revealed that video games help in the hand to eye coordination of young ones. Race car drivers have set up elaborate video systems so they can "practice" at whatever track they are racing at next. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick in NASCAR are two drivers that swear by it and says that it makes them better drivers on the track. That doesn't get a mention does it? Just the negative. The only positives are in the first couple of paragraphs as a side note and then it attacks from there on out.
Yes even surfing the web can improve your dexterity. I know several people who can competantly surf the web while using the mouse with their left hand!!!

FLASHBACK FROM THE WATERBOY: Videogames are "da debil, Bobby Bouchet"
Was Bobby's mother a JDUB?
I'd like to know where they got that demon possesed looking little evil dude for the front cover. Looks like he's about to have an anurism
Ya know, I was gonna tear this article apart, but the job's already been done.
I must say that I think video games can have a negative effect on some players.
Kids especially - if a parent has an easy-going kid whose demeanor seems to be effected by the violent games he's playing, maybe they should strongly reconsider the type of games he plays. Violent vids aren't a CAUSE of violence, but I think they can be a contributing factor - just depends on who the user is.
I'm a very non-violent person, but playing a violent vid doesn't bother me the least bit, nor does it provoke me to want to go out and reinact what I've been playing on the screen.
Lord knows though...if I ever get attacked I ain't going down easy, that's for sure. Thanks to Tekken3. Gotta luv that Bruce Lee character!
:-P
And to think, if I were still a dub, I'd have to give up all of the pleasures of Resident Evil! What an awesome game series!! It's good to be free of mind control. :)
