    JH:

Here in Missouri they have found that older workers are more stable, they tend to arrive on Monday mornings unlike a large percentage of younger people. As far as Citibank they are very good in diversity all races, ages and sexual preferences work side by side. In fact when I left I was in for a shock I was hired at a company when I went for orientation the entire company was white and about 90% male in the upper management brackets, I quit I just saw no future there for me.

I have an AAS degree in Human Services (specialized in Family and Youth) and also a BA in Social Work (specialized in Child Protection)......and a load of student loans to show for it!

About 2 years ago I decided to put everything on hold and be a full-time-stay-at-home-mom. My youngest just turned 3.......so I have a few years at home yet. But when Nathan goes to school full time, I am hoping to get into the field of Social Work.......something to do w/Children.

I did my intern in the county's Child Protection Unit......it was fascinating, fulfilling and heartbreaking at the same time. I don't know if I necessarily want to get into that field...maybe something in prevention and education w/families. Guess I will find out what is available when the time comes.

    I'm with Farkel..when I grow up I wanna be a kid!

For the time being however I am stuck working in an art gallery. I will go back to school next fall and will pursue a degree in graphic design I think. Well, maybe..

Kewl Deb......any luck finding a job? Here in Northern Minnesota jobs in these fields are kinda scarce.....or low paying. But, I hear that we didn't chose this profession for the money, right?

Scootergirl..Tons of jobs here in Australia - but they pay terribly...the best pay is in UK and they will recruit Aussies to go there, something I`m thinking about seriously as I have a UK passport anyway. I work with homeless families BUT there is always vacancies at Child Protection of course. Its one of those `unrecognised` caring professions that we need to make sure is given proper regard to its professionalism............

I dont care what job I have as long as it pays the bills. What I want to be most when I grow up (not for a few years yet) is a Dad. And I will be the best damn dad any kid ever had.

More than anything else, I want to be wise.

I would not have made the mistakes I made had I had enough wisdom.
