Don't even attempt to use that argument. Doctors did not say that their treatments were the word of god. Nor did they ruin the lives of the people who refused their treatments, or did they completely dictate how their patients should live. And doctors don't make up foolish stories about new light when they find new methods of treatment. They admit they were wrong, and admit they will again be wrong in 20 years. The fact of the matter is, the WT claims to be "Jehovah's sole channel of commnication" to his people, and yet the WT has been wrong time and time again. And their terrible controlling techniques proves they are not of god. If they truly spoke for Jehovah they would not fear apostate material, because they would be in the truth, and unafraid of scrutiny. And yet, you better not be caught with that "spiritual pornography" or else.

i don't remember the medical profession ever claim to be jehovah's mouth piece on earth today.. now back to my first question.... before you try to change the subject AGAIN READ AW 5-22-90 pg 12-14. all i want to talk about is 1914- 1919 and how jesus choose the wt based on the wt teachings at that time...after you spent a year or so reading the record as the wt says what does the record show. you will be the one holding his dick.. so do your HOMEWORK BOY after you read for your self how the wt has lied to you all about 1914 and everything else you will thank me for asking you to do this research. till then you will be baring false witness with each mag you hand out.. and you know what the bible says will happen to a false witness.... Of COURSE Jesus didn't "choose the wt as the fds in 1919". That date, along with its reasoning, is due to go out the window right along with the 1914 doctrine as can be discerned by Daniel 11:35. (Until you properly understand this scripture in Daniel you will go on thinking the way that you do, no doubt.)
But that still doesn't mean that the WTS doesn't harbor the FDS within her midst. The reason I say such a thing is because the Governing Body has indeed stepped up to the plate and said to God that they desire more than anything else in life to be that faithful slave that Matthew 24 speaks of. Their dedication towards that end is evident by their persistence in the work they chose even in the face of intense persecution. They are surely being recognized by Jesus as being that "slave" simply because they sincerely asked for the job and because they sincerely do their best trying to fulfill the responsibilities that come with that job. Based on that, who else would be better qualified so that Jesus should select them instead? When Jesus does arrive, it will be them that receives the appointment over "all his belongings".

lefty; you just said it your self the wt was never choosen in 1919.. and 1914 was wrong... so all of the 24 million mag's the wt prints a week that say all this crap are a lie .. and this is not worship that is aceptable to god.. misleading people is not acceptable to jehovah or jesus. in fact the wt has been teaching a false gospel for over 100 years.. and today they call their old false teachings bible truth... this is not acceptable to god. noone needs to follow anyone that calls lies truth and truth lies.... whats that verse all you need is the inspired word of god... nothing more .. also ecclesiastes 12:11

So, you chose to throw that bullsh!t out here again, as if it is something that everybody here hasn't heard a thousand times before. If it weren't for the fact that you are rather new here I'd chastise you for being so outright ignorant of what has already been said here in reply to all that you bring up.
The WTS has said time and time again that it is not infallible, and that it expects to undergo changes as the Bible becomes more and more understandable/clear. The fact that the WTS has corrected many of its past beliefs show that infallibility is not claimed. Yes, the WTS's GB does claim to be the "faithful slave" of Matthew 24, and as such is indeed God's mouthpiece (something that you obviously can't understand). And the GB has faithfully tried to do that job. So, what have you really got to bitch about?

You need a lesson in the difference between a mistake and an outright lie.
Quit calling a mistake a "lie". There is a big difference, you know. Are you going to call those doctors who thought that fiber was bad for those afflicted with the piles liars? No, of course you wouldn't ever do that. You would say that they were "mistaken".
