Realist, I like you too!!!

Francois,
You're evidence that Rebublicans are a cult.
Pettygrudger,
hahhaha...J-Lo is cool and all, but there's more to admire in Halle Berry to me. And Angelina Jolie. Realistically though, I think I'd vote for someone like the Venus Williams....now we're talking pure talent.
Celia,
I saw a book at the bookstore full of quotes from Bush that make no sense whatsoever or exemplify him slaughtering the English language. It's embarrassing yet hilarious!
Reborn,
Right on dude. Excellent research - thanks for bringing out those points. I saw a bumber sticker that said:
BUSH CHEATED
HAHAHHAHA
one more Aztec fan right here, btw. :-)
you're one cool chic, g/f.
cheers!
Aztec,
thats great!!!
back2dafront,
Halle Berry is a good actress but as a person...hmmmmmmm...certainly not my first choice.
Realist,
right on - i could agree with ya. A reason I like Jolie is cuz she's active in charity organizations and such. She seems like a really cool individual besides being incredibly sexy, which is a rarity amongst the Hollywood persona. A friend of mine met "Chandler" from Friends at a ski resort and he constantly tried to get her in bed. She's a lesbian and told him such and he still felt that was no reason she shouldn't. She ended up cussing him out and walking away because he was such a self-centered, egotiscal moron. There are others too...like Dick Clark, which you see first hand on Michael Moores' documentary Bowling for Columbine.
Okay - Halle Berry would get my vote too in the "most beautiful woman" catagory (with Vanessa Williams, Cameron Diaz, Shania Twain & Faith HIll). But this wasn't the "award" - it was most admirable.
Reborn - excellent rebuttal! (where'd Francois go?)
Aztec - I'm with you - Mother Theresa should be on the list, as well as Barbara Dole - women who truly use their positions to make a difference in our world. Those are the ones that should be "admired" - not the persons who can make the most out of their political careers to gain glory & recognition for themselves. In fact - there were few on that list that I "admire" - except Colin Powell - you gotta love him!
petty,
i am with you....except for Vanessa Williams being one of the most beautiful woman...WHAT????? good tennis player yes ...beautiful ..hell NO!
Not THAT Vanessa Williams - the one that was formally a Ms America but got booted because of her "pornographic photo's"
Besides - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - no? I
Not to veer offtopic or hijack the thread, but Realist I believe you have confused Vanessa Williams (the former Miss U.S.A, singer, model, and actress / currently married to Lakers player Rick Fox) for the currently popular Venus and Serena Williams (professional tennis players and controversially self-admitted Jehovah's Witnesses)
Hope this clears things up.
PS- Pettygrudger, don't expect Francois to respond. When his ignorance is exposed in the face of facts he often tucks his tail firmly between his legs and runs.
If he does respond (undoubtedly he will wish to do so now to prove me wrong) he will flail wildly about this or that, ignoring the facts I presented, or present a red herring to divert attention, or an ad hominem attack because he is frustrated.
Typical modus operandi for someone who posts passionately about a subject, but in reality has no grasp of what they are talking about because they lack facts.
