    hi,

    i have a request.

could you perhaps state all the real facts that support the idea of the GB being inspired by God?

i am not talking about feelings, faith etc. but of real proveable fact...things that would be accepted in a court or that would survive scientific testing.

for instance a prophecy stating a very unlikely event that came actually true and was written prior to the fullfillment.

    thanks!

I would be impressed by any such proof that indicated that the GB was even preferred, or blessed, or singled out for anything by God.

Hey give them time realist. You remember don't you, how these convoluted explanations require one to go to the books and mags. The mind has a hard time remembering these impossibly twisted revelations.

he can read his own literature to find that answer

SOJ look at the WT 3/1/79: which states:

"in this regard, however, it must be observed that this"faithful and discreet slave"was never inspired, never perfect. Those writings by certain members of the "slave"class that came to form the Christian part of God's word were inspired and infallible, but that is not true of writings since."

The GB claim to have "Divine Direction"...this is something better than what The apostles had. The Apostle Paul only had "Inspiration", he knew nothing of the 1914 - 1919 dates, and didnt preach the same message as JWs, this is admitted by the Watchtower "No one has ever preached the message of the establishment of the kingdom in the heavens in 1914"....poor Paul, he only got inspiration.

Given a considerable amount of study anyone will realise that while claiming not to be "Inspired" they claim to have more authority and something better than inspiration...divine direction. Paul was only inspired to write his books, the GB are divinely directed to understand those books and even change the words and meanings at lesiure.
