My husband did not go to meeting last night...just confirms my suspicions that he only went out in service to "keep the hounds at bay". We have study Thursday night in our home, which I have already informed him that I do not wish to attend. I wonder if he will acccept another study invite from the Elders after that? Probably not. I'll let you know after Thurs.
Elders will be here in 10 minutes...pray for me

He told me the other day, "Jehovha's Witnesses are the only religion to have apostates."
This is totally untrue. There are plenty of religions out there who have former members who have become opposers. The JWs are very arrogant to assume that no other religion has opposers who have left their ranks.
Many of the current JWs are former Catholics who can rag on the catholic religion all day long. Doesn't that make them "Apostate Catholics"?

Good point elsewhere, but you do not see JW's standing outside Catholic church's with picket signs and megaphones. I think that is more like what my husband was referring to.

Well,
As I thought, my hubby called and canceled the study for last night. He said he was too tired. When he called the elder last night to cancel, my husband was then invited by the Elder to a bachelor party being held at his house for tonight.
My comment was, "Isn't that nice. Cancel a study and be invited to a bachelore party, all in the same breath! You being invited to things was never the issue to begin with." And I left it at that.
