    MYOHNSEPH,

A true skeptic doesn't say that it's impossible to have a creator god. He just realizes that there is no clear evidence for one. Using the logic tool of Occham's Razor, the skeptic will usually disbelieve the god theory by default until further evidence supports it. This is because the Creator theory posits an additional unknown, unprovable entity (thus violating Occham's Razor), whereas the naturalistic theory does not since we know that atoms and molecules exist and react in ways that we are still learning about. The naturalistic explanation also has an advantage in that it is internally consistent logically (it doesn't cause an eternal regress).

Occham's Razor isn't necessarily a hard and fast rule, but it is a good tool to use to weed out bad theories and find the best ones. For now, no one knows either way, but the way we base our beliefs are different. People who use the strict rules of logic and evidence will choose to believe the naturalistic explanation unless further evidence shows otherwise, while others will chose to believe in the Creator hypothesis based on other criteria that they feel is important to them.

    Hope that helps!

    rem
