Damm!!! I wanted to show my mum about the 3000 halls to be sold. But the video is unavailable.

Lets me honest - the GB , who are constantly referenced throughout the videos as if they had the wisdom of Solomon , don't exactly seem the most intelligent , switched on financial operators. Frankly these guys couldn't run a bath , any more than they can run a multi billion dollar organisation.

The impression I get is that there was a blase "Jehovah will provide and the end is near anyway" mentality , with the finances deteriorating. The hemorrhaging of cash was masked by the occasional selling off of an office block in Brooklyn to Trump's son-in-law for a few hundred million dollars. Despite the collapse of the old business model of selling literature , there was still enough just about enough cash coming in and enough of a reserve to keep things ticking over. I've seen this a lot in old family businesses that have been going for many years , with old deluded owners who are kind of out of touch with what is going on ( which is essentially an accurate description of the Society.)

Then suddenly somebody crunched a few numbers and discovered that the "S**t was going to hit the fan" big time in a couple of years. Hence the panic measures - 25% overall cuts and 10% annual cuts demanded of the branches , new projects cancelled or (like Chelmsford ) heavily cut back , 3000 properties to be sold in a fire sale type operation , congregations to be merged where possible and Kingdom Halls to be flogged off , peripheral none core branches to be closed such as Ireland and New Zealand.

As is often the case , basically everybody else had to take the cutbacks other than the bosses - the only ringfencing was the new vanity global HQ in the USA.

Christians have been preaching the core doctrines of Justification, Sanctification & Glorification of believers for 2000 years and will continue until raptured.

WT, please keep preaching about how awesome your organization is, please, pretty please. Please keep preaching your false gospel of universal sovereignty, sanctification of Jehovah's Holy Name etc.
