Creationists believe that man was designed in the image of a God who is conscious, self aware, thinks, plans and carries out plans.

This doesn't answer the question of consciousness. It just kicks the can down the road. How do we explain the consciousness of the god?

Evolution simply explains how the millions of species alive today, and the tens of millions that have gone extinct, all descended from a common ancestor through natural processes, including but not limited to, natural selection.

Evolution does not attempt to explain ultimate causes, cosmic origins or the dawn of life

So many people just don't get that. They end up merging it all together.

They talk about consciousness in relation to the earth, brains, tables, chairs, and all matter, from about 48 minutes in. "Rocks have persoanlities" is a particular synecdoche you are fond of using to mock pansychism in total, the same as you used "the earth is flat" to mock all kinds of perspectivism.

Well, from my perspective, the Sun rotates about the Earth.

    Question from Coded Logic:

How do you know it's a possibility? We can't solve one mystery with another mystery Old Navy. And we can't explain one unknown by postulating the existence of another unknown.

We simply cannot explain things which we do not yet comprehend. There are certain aspects of the incredibly complex phenomenon of Life which we may never be able to comprehend by reliance upon the Scientific Method since it has limitations.

Once those "secrets" which we are unable to discover on our own are explained to us by our Creators, then we will know.

Evolution itself has many mysteries which defy explanation or comprehension. Evolution presumes that all life traces back to a "Common Ancestor."

There is no question that Man is intelligent and is able to reason and is very curious about many things in The Creation. But, our intelligence is very limited; our reasoning is very limited; our ability to research difficult questions is very limited.

Our Creators, on the other hand, have unlimited intelligence and ability. For them all things are possible. When one hits the Evolution Wall one realizes that therein lies the answer to the many unanswerable questions. We are not yet ready to comprehend. We have no way to handle that kind of Truth. But, one day we shall.

We were made to wonder about these things. To seek answers.

It must be stated that Evolutionists pursue these mysteries because they too want to know about our Creators. Of course they will deny their true motivation; insisting that there is no Creator. There is no need for a Creator or Creators.

    Until they hit the wall.

That is where Evolutionists become Creationists.

God, for many believers, is not conceived as a being or an item or a thing. I know materialists think "well who made God then" is a killer line. But it simply misunderstands what many believers think God is or what can even be said about him. In a crucial sense it is the essence of God that he is such that he is sufficient in himself. The reason for believing in God is that he is the source of everything. So to ask where he came from is to miss the point. We know that we are finite beings. The question is whether there is a being who is not finite. When atheists insist that God must have an origin if he exists, as asserting nothing more than their belief that only finite beings can exist. Which is begging the question..

Blah blah, waffle waffle. No explanation for the tough questions, just hand-waving.

The reality is no explanation is needed. What existed before the universe? There was no before - there is no time without gravity. So this "who created ..." doesn't need to be answered

The concept of god is finite because he / she / it / them are a recent invention.
