I wish to show my support for our troops and their mission, may they be safe, get the job done and thank you for protecting our freedoms.

Berten, do you even realize that there has been no draft since 1973? No draft equals what, volunteering?

For the rest, this little exercise was done to see if so many that claim they are against the war but will support the troops really would. That so few even viewed it initially is very telling, given the title was as plain as day. I disagree with the anti-war left, but won't try to prohibit you from exercising your lawful rights. However, since so many claim they are in support of the troops and so few even viewed the thread, much less posted a supportive message, tells me that many making that claim are simply full of hot air. It becomes symbolism over substance. It's real easy to say you support the troops, but to actually show it is a different matter.

For those who did go and post a message, thank you. I hope you realize how much kind words from home mean to these people, even if you are against the war.

We cannot escape the loss of human life. No matter what your faith, or beliefs, I wish you safety and wisdom. You each may never know, the lives you effect. I am no advocate of war... and mans affairs are his own.... I cannot Imagine the courage it takes to walk in your shoes.

I dont recognize political or religous agendas.... if you are hurt I will help you the best I can.. no matter what color, religion, sex, or ... any other condition.

Just dont make judgements on people after you quote them out of context... that is what is wrong with your society.... by that I mean mans society in general... what flag you waive.. is a petty concern to me.
