THE PROBLEM WITH THESE 2 NEW GB MEMBERS APPOINTMENTS

Once a person understands that the Organization isn't really governed by the Holy Spirit, then it become quite easy to see how these kinds of appointments are made. And I wouldn't be surprised if these recent GB additions aren't part of the power-block politics that exist in congregational Elder bodies.

But yeh ... I'd be bummed if I was a long time Helper, and saw those newbies fast-tracked in front of me.

Most of the Helpers aren't anointed. They can't be on the GB at this time.

The term Governing Body is a corporate term, their 501c3 regulations state that they have to have a GB, so it's a legal thing, actually nothing at all to do with anything biblical whatsoever.

They can use that to explain the non anointed appointments whenever it suits them to do so, and fall back on a separate faithful slave when the need arises. I think they left themselves an escape clause.

@ Raymond Frantz - Jody Jedele doesn't seem to lack the "experience" which the Org needs! 🤣

So it's perfectly acceptable for these clowns to be "educated", when it benefits WatchTower, but the rank-n-file are denied this same education in order to actually, ya know.....make a LIVING?

    Got it.

Fuck this cult. This type of in-your-face hypocrisy is astounding to be behold.

As best as I can recall, not all that long ago WT published the statement that all (or at least most) of all the "newly anointed" members we either confused about leaving behind their old "everyone goes to heaven" thinking from Christendom OR, they were likely mentally ill.

From what I can see and hear from newly appointed GB members, they definitely fit into the latter description or explanation.

Or, in other words: they're effing crazy!

This contrasts sharply with past appointees, who often had decades of proven leadership and tangible accomplishments. In most organizations, top leadership positions are awarded to those who have demonstrated a long track record of success and contribution, making these appointments seem even more unusual.

Call it whatever you like; change management/ succession planning, the actions of the WT leadership certainly don't give the impression that we are 'close to the end'.

It seems they are appointing corporation men as opposed to religious men, as you point out. and yes, it's amazing how gods spirit can only find white, North American men to fill these roles.

There has to be some older JW's that are starting to become just a little uncomfortable with the direction the WT has taken recently. However, the org has done a good job to brainwash the average JW over the last few years.

The recurring theme of listen and obey, even if it doesn't make sense from a human point of view has been used to prepare JW's for all these changes.

Not impressed. All I see is an advertisement, narrated by a glib, BS-spouting real estate agent trying to legitimize an unorthodox trade-school 'education'. No degree, no legitimate university education. If that is what they consider experienced, I would direct my real estate management needs elsewhere.

:) lol BINGO we have a winner: "a glib, BS-spouting real estate agent trying to legitimize an unorthodox trade-school 'education'. No degree, no legitimate university education." AKA = 1st degree boot licker.

No Theological reasons, just more money making guys for Watchtower.

Reminds me of an old 70s Beatles Peter Sellers flick "The Magic Christian". People willing to do anything for MORE MONEY including diving into filth to grab more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Xg2v_T2XH8
