If you watched Rick on SixSreens the other night,,he related that it wouldn't surprise him if the GB became the only partakers in the bread & wine at memorial. Because the parking numbers keep going up.
As Gary Breaux recently said "our future kings the governing body".
Perhaps "nu lite". Maybe only governing body are the only partakers. Since,,it's always about them already anyways.
A couple weeks back, someone here joked that before too long, the Memorial service would just consist of watching a live feed of the GB exclusively partaking.
It wasn’t meant seriously, but the way things’ve been going, it doesn’t sound all that weird.

I imagine that it is policy to never have all the GB be together and particularly not to travel together, like the semi-mythical Coca-Cola executives who know the secret recipe.
Do the GB even meet physically any more? The most recent photo of them seated around a boardroom table is years old and seems to be Photoshopped on occasion to add/remove members*.
* This photo and its variants have popped up from time to time since I've been on here. Don't ask me to find the link; I just remember it being discussed, probably in threads featuring Tony Morris.
The bus thing was a joke because nobody knew what was going to happen including them, and the flipflops of opinions of the same were humorous.

I used to scratch my head over that one… I mean, just how fucking hard is it to take a new group photo? 😄
Makes sense if they’re too paranoid to get together in one place at the same time, though… one unfortunate accent (or “accident”), and bam, the head of “God’s Earthly Organization” is gone (this is one of the reasons they left Brooklyn, BTW… 9-11 scared ‘em).
The Helpers and lawyers’d maybe try to keep the bailing buckets going, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
