Is there info available (other than new posters here) re/those waking up? Hall sales/consolidations are evidence but are PIMOs hearing/observing this first hand?

The course that the WT corporation has taken from its very beginning is one plotted by "Wishful Thinking" sadly the pattern is always the same with different phases they must go thru. I think we can say with some degree of certainty as reality keeps pressing in on the Governing Body they will reach the nightmare stage soon if not there already.

Very good Humphrey. The only way to keep the fantasy going is to prevent the followers from getting their news from any other source than the organisation, and that is getting more and more challenging

They seem to have it made keeping their followers away from reality or that's the impression I get -- but I really don't know.

I agree with LV101, the very strict control of information that filters through to the J.W "mind" makes waking up, sadly, a rarity, despite the ease with which JW's could find out the real truth about their org.
The fear of Apostates, and the feeling of being "loyal to Jehovah" means that even when Truth comes to a JW they reject it as " Apostate Lies" or " Persecution".
They are being pressed in many ways though, the frequency of stories about Abuse in the Org, and also the hardening of the Public toward their Door to Door work, which I detect locally, a number of people telling me they are annoyed by the JW presumption that it is O.K to come and shove their religion down the throat of a Householder without an invite.

The GB are consolidating the org. into a streamlined, low cost undertaking because it makes sense, not necessarily because numbers are dropping.
I speak to old friends still in and I have responses ranging from those that agree with me, but still remain in, to those that now refuse to speak to me even though I am not DF'd, marked or disassociated.
Some people haven't even thought about the overlapping generation stuff, let alone all the other changes and scandals over the last decade and if they have, they find a way to reconcile it.
The same old catch phrases, Trust in Jehovah, Wait on Jehovah etc.
The Gb has simply made it too inconvenient for the average JW to leave, it is primarily for social/ family reasons most JW's stay.

WT only wants non-critically thinking R&F members to remain within the Borg. They figure that these persons will be PIMI forever and never question or think to question any doctrines and especially organizational policies. Any other R&F who wake up--verbally and/or silently questioning the above--are considered apostate and enemies to "Mother". In fact, the Stepfordized PIMIs will give any and all $$$$ to the GB--without question!

...I remember reading about the Wishful Thinking phenomenon way back when I first started my fade (but before I realized just how deep the WT rabbit hole went), and being unable to shake the feeling that the bOrg was somewhere in the later stages.
