Actually, his article is a "deathblow" to your continued false claims that Jerusalem fell in 607.

Even you may note that Dr. Bryan places the beginning of the "Exile" in 605, eighteen years before the fall of Jerusalem.

Nope. The tree dream is centered around King Neb and his humiliation resulting in him glorifying God's sovereignty. Jerusalem is never mentioned once in Dan 4, not even alluded to.

Ditto Sanchy. The dream was in regards to King Neb. Verse 22 couldn't be any clearer:

[20“‘The tree that you beheld, that grew great and became strong and the height of which finally reached the heavens and which was visible to all the earth,+
21 and the foliage of which was fair, and the fruit of which was abundant, and on which there was food for all; under which the beasts of the field would dwell, and on the boughs of which the birds of the heavens would reside,+ 22
it is you, O king,+ because you have grown great and become strong, and your grandeur has grown great and reached to the heavens,+ and your rulership to the extremity of the earth.+23“‘And because the king beheld a watcher,* even a holy one,+ coming down from the heavens, who was also saying: “CHOP the tree down, and RUIN it.]

To say that the tree was also meant to represent God's kingdom and given the fact that an holy one was sent to CHOP down the tree, is equivalent to saying that the USA is going to show NoKo or Iran how powerful the USA is by using its own military to bomb one of its own American cities.

And as far as 'getting the facts right', the way that Jerusalem comes to be trampled on and led captive into the nations stated at Luke 21:24 is a result from the disgusting thing's attack upon Jerusalem/the holy place. This is why in Joel's account when attacked by the Northerner it is said that the 'nations are ruling over them' and it is said in regards to Gog's attack that they are sent into exile and at Rev 11:2 it is said that the nations will trample the holy city for 42-months.

Obviously you did not read the article or failed to understand it.

Not so. In fact, WT Chronology is thoroughly biblical and historical as confirmed by Josephus and others and regarding archaeology, there is much to be said that confirms our interpretation of the seventy years as a period of desolation of the land of Judah which serves to ground our wondrous Bible Chronology

Yah the only source are JWs themselves and we know how corrupt, ignorant and mischievous those men were.

I dont know if you realize this but you lost this argument 10 pages back

All other sources from the bible and elsewhere show the desolation after Jerusalem was destroyed was only 49 years 586 -537 = 49 years

In any case either your some kind of nutter or your an elder who just doesn't want to give up the power within the congregation you belong to, probably both apply.

You might even be counting time while posting on this thread, so all what is needed to say about this subject has been said.

There are two noteworthy things wrong with the JWS date setting of 1914, the endeavor to come up with this date, preach it, sell it whatever, its actually an act of apostasy to do so under Jesus's instructions for preaching his Gospel and the actual dating calculation cant be supported by the bible in the strongest and unquestionable way either.

The leaders of the WTS acumen was charlatanism not academic bible scholarly work and it shows under close and honest evaluation, on this doctrine and many others

If scholars are so sure about their facts then Why do some including apostates prefer 587 rather than 586?

    Big Pwoblem!!!!!

Uncertainty about a few months isn’t as bad as what the WTS has done in it’s theological assertions 😟

Have we converted you to the Christian truth then scholar ?

All of the above just proves to me that there is no GOD or his Spirit/Active Force overseeing anything written down in the Bible.

The discrepancy is in fact one whole year of 12 months so it shows that traditional chronology is simply not accurate so better stick to the definite year of 607 BCE.
