1) Is your self-appointed "slave" & king/priests usurping Christ's judgment powers now?
2) Has your evil-slave class now added more unforgiveable sins to the Holy Scriptures?
Now ask yourself, "How many people have I ever known who committed the "unforgiveable" sin?

No, that was you preaching. Re-read that 1st paragraph of yours. You preach that we are created by god and that resisting him is a serious sin. You didn't quote the bible in that whole post. It was all you.
And even if the bible does make sinister "resistance is futile" threats, what of it? Why take it seriously and, more importantly, why trouble exiting cult members with the very same intimidation?
For the WTS, "independent thinking" refers to thinking that is independent of the WTS's doctrines and interpretations. If you interpret the Bible differently than you are told, you are engaging in risky and dangerous behavior. If you share your thoughts with other JWs, you can be removed for apostasy.
Because of the heavy dependence on unquestioning obedience, "independent thinking" is probably the most serious offense a JW can commit, according to the GB.
I'm 45. I can remember "Independent Thinking" spoken about negatively and as basically a sin as far back as I can remember.
In short, anything you can come up with "Independent" of whatever WT HQ says is a "Sin", going against God, and "grieving the holy spirit." AKA: The Unforgivable Sin.

Just to be clear about my own personal stance about being labelled a serious sinner - quite similar to Jeff Windup merchant's:

Me: I am not embarrassed about using 'independent thinking' to make needed adjustments in my thinking. Nor is an apology needed to wt for using 'independent thinking' to get right previous errors in my thinking.
What is "the sin that easily entangles us'?

All of us "inactive" ones must be guilty!
What concerns me may be an unfounded fear, but this statement leaves it open for Elders to Label any of us as being " Serious sinners" according to their lights, and then we will be treated the same as any actual "Removed Person".
