I would like to nominate that that empty-headed, inane, waste of toliet tissue that hosts that empty-headed, inane, waste of toilet tissue show together with that squonka called Regis, who endlessly grins at you as if he is looking in his own mirror, be sent to the outskirts of Preston in England and be forced to work in a factory producing the tranquilizers that one needs in order to watch her show.

Yes, I have watched the show, it was on in my doctors surgery last week, and is the poorest advertisment for America that I can think of apart of course for Reality TV, which is foolish enough to show the world what young American people are really thinking about all day....themselves.

There... I feel much better now.

Wrong, Hillary. If one watches those reality shows, it becomes readily apparent they are thinking about ......

    FAKE BREASTS.

    Hillary,

I like them natural. Perky is good, a little sag is fine. Real droopy is not good.

I think you miss the point. Madonna is preventing her children from viewing the TV, others swearing and smoking in their company in case they are affected by unhealthy role models. In doing this she is attesting to the fact that she not only disagrees with your statement above but that she is also closer to being a hypocrite than she seems to want to admit. Semi-talented, semi-educated, semi-detached.

I keep my kids from people who smoke or are bad role models too even though I did those things that I now don't want them to do. Does that make me a hypocrite too? I call it growth of an individual. And we all have choices. My parents didn't let me watch Madonna's videos. I don't let my kids watch MTV period.

I think if Madonna is trying to be a good parent then good for her. I also think it's the parent's responsibility to "sensor" what their kids see and do. My TV has block ability and you can bet that there are more channels on block than not.

One day it was Elvis, then it was Madonna, now it's Eminem..............

    bluesapphire,

You are assuming that Maddona is no longer benefiting from the record sales and royalties that she made in the period before she became a born again moralist. We are you must recall, speaking not of an individual who has learned from their past mistakes but of someone who is as we speak and without explaining the inconsistency of her past life, frequently expressing public outrage at the morals of a country that she helped to shape. I cannot think of another word for ‘hypocrisy’ in this setting.

    Best regards - HS

HS, she was in a position where she had a lot of influence. But we all have a certain amount of influence. I have influence over my four children. I may influence close friends. I work for a public school and may influence 800+ children daily.

Does that mean I can't change -- ever? Does it mean that I have to cease growth of my inner self? I don't consider myself a huge Madonna fan but I think by your standards everyone who ever changes their minds must be a hypocrite.

What if I sold cocaine to some friends when I was 20. And I became a millionaire by my drug racket. Well does that mean that since now I don't do it and I believe it to be wrong, I have to give away all my money I made in the past?

I don't get your thinking on this.
