My girlfriend's cat Wally was 24 when he died in January. They wanted him to make it to 25 so bad. Greg got Wally from the pound the week after they were married.
Isn't it something how those little guys become a part of your family?

i am so so sorry for the loss of your cat. i know exactly how you feel. i know you will be weepy for some time. it is ok. they are so special. we are so blessed to have them in our lives and we have to remember the joy they have given us. when they leave it really is a heartfelt loss

I told the kids tonight that grandma's kitty died. They were so shocked...even Zoe. She had a rather dramatic re-enactment of the kitty's final moments. "She took a step and thought that she just couldn't live anymore (tongue hanging out the side of her mouth) and she closed her eyes and died(ed)"
Rhys was happy he got to see her yesterday since it was the last time.

Tiffany sounds like she was really and truly, one of the family. I am sure she'll be missed by everyone.
My condolences. Losing a pet, for some, is as painful as losing a human being.

That is so funny, The only photo I could find of Tiffany was of Rhys petting her when he was about a year old. I know there are more, but I haven't gone through all of them.
I'm so sorry, Mulan! Our animals become so much a part of the family, don't they? My dear old Dexter is moving slower now and can't hold his head and tail up as far as he used to. But that tail still wags! And he still comes up to me while I'm having my coffee on a Saturday morning and lays his head on my leg or nudges me in an effort to get me to pet him/give him another donut. He's such a sweetheart.
